Water pipe burst in Meridian, MS

It is amazing the damage a small pipe can cause!  In this home a pipe burst in the attic and flooded a couple of rooms downstairs.  In the first picture, notice how visible the water staining is.  The water is even starting to leak through the drywall ceiling, and the drywall is starting to buckle.  Unfortunately, SERVPRO of Meridian's technicians  had to remove the drywall and insulation, to insure drying and prevent mold growth. Picture two shows the removed drywall and insulation.  Many customers are shocked to see a hole in their ceiling, but with a great crew of technicians explaining the drying process, most customers are very relieved to know their homes are in professional hands.
