Spider Webs or Smoke Chains

When fires occur, they present many different problems. One factor that most people are unaware of is the webbing affect that can occur. Although it looks like a spider's web, this is a phenomenon created by smoke damage. Soot and smoke attaches itself to any dust and creates webbing as seen in the before picture. This requires multiple cleaning techniques that our crews are trained for. We carefully document the severity of situations so the client understands all that is involved in the cleaning process to prepare it for restoration repairs.
