Summer Storms

This week Lauderdale and Clarke counties experienced a very strong summer storm, with extremely strong winds associated with it.   Storms can be frightening when your local weather channel is broadcasting multiple alerts.  There are a few things property owners and managers can do to prevent damage. 

1. Make sure all grills, furniture, lawn mowers, pool items are in a garage so secured in a safe place, so they can’t be thrown around by the wind.
2. Prevent roof leaks by cleaning out your gutters.
3. Cut or hire a service to cut any trees that could hit your house.
